“Happiness is a warm gun. …When I hold you in my arms, and I feel my finger on your trigger, I know no one can do me no harm, because happiness is a warm gun.”

The Beatles sang these words in the 1960s, and some 10 years later John Lennon would be shot in the back by a gun-toting yahoo.

A yahoo is a degraded or vicious person, who thinks they have the absolute right to carry and discharge a killing machine. Guaranteed in our own Constitution, the Second Amendment all but guarantees all of us will end up like John Lennon.

Now is the time to do away with the Second Amendment. We do not have the right to kill another person unless we are a soldier at war, with the enemy shooting back.

The fear within our own borders drives every one of us into a yahoo’s mentality, where everyone is suspect and no one is safe from deadly gun violence.

I will go so far as to say that America is the newest killing field, and there is no happiness associated with a warm gun that is supposed to keep us alive and well.

All praises to the American yahoo.
