I support Meghan Hird’s reelection to the Lewiston School Committee, Ward 6.

Meghan is eminently qualified and has served Lewiston and Lewiston Public Schools well for the past six years.

Before we cast our ballots, we should perform due diligence. Do we want an inexperienced newbie involved with the governance of Lewiston’s largest department with the city’s largest budget? Someone with no stake in the outcome of our schools?

Or, someone who’d be a good steward for our tax dollars and a commonsense advocate for us and our concerns in public education? 

Meghan has consistently demonstrated her commitment to the students, educators and families of our community. Her thoughtful approach to decision-making, active engagement with constituents and advocacy for educational excellence have made a real difference in Ward 6 and beyond.

Our schools are creating the next generation of Lewiston’s parents and voters. Make the obvious choice; reelect Meghan Hird.
