More than 50 people gathered under Bicentennial Park pavilion Sept. 19 to cap a return of music, arts and children camps for the Denmark Arts Center annual fundraising FallFEST celebration.
Offerings included Brackett Clark’s instrumental music, McSherry’s Nursery & Gardens’ harvest decorations, food from GrandyOats, Pietree Orchard and Patch Farm, and a dinner from Stella’s on the Square’s Nick Orgo, with help from William Holmes of Standard Gastropub.
DAC Director Susan Beane thanked guests for attending Denmark Arts Center’s summer offerings in the park.
Supporting businesses include Norway Savings Bank, Hancock Lumber, Atlantic Hardwoods, Chalmers, Lake Living Magazine and Jimbob’s General Store.
Foundation support came from Kendal C. & Anna Ham, Maine Arts Commission, Maine 200 Bicentennial, Maine Humanities Council, Robert & Dorothy Goldberg, Charles & Rayma Guarino, Simmons, Onion Foundation, the town of Denmark, and CMP.
“We are blessed with talented people who find their way to the western foothills and the White Mountains to perform and some who stay and now call this community home. It is this talent and support that makes it possible for arts to thrive and Denmark Arts Center to exist,” Beane said, according to a news release from the center
