Peter and the Starcatchers
by Dave Barry & Ridley Pearson
Have you always wanted to know more about Peter Pan and Neverland? Or are you new to the story of Peter Pan? Either way, you’re sure to love this exciting fantasy and adventure story! Pirates, fairies, treasure, battles between good and evil…follow Peter and Molly as they travel from England to a faraway island, with countless adventures and dangers along the way.
Peter and the Starcatchers is book one in a fantastic series that continues the story. I particularly recommend it as an audiobook – it is read by the amazing Jim Dale. If any of you have ever listened to the Harry Potter audiobooks, you will already be familiar with his amazing reading skills. In fact, it’s hard to believe that only one person is reading the story instead of a different person for each character in the story.
This series is great for all ages – from fairly young children who have the patience to listen to a long story, to adults. It’s the perfect entertainment for a long car ride when everyone can listen and enjoy together!
