LEWISTON — Nicholas Anthony Douglas, 31, passed away Tuesday, March 6. He was born on Aug. 10, 1986.
He attended Culinary Arts School and enjoyed showing his love for his friends and family through food and music. He was a very talented musician. Our family’s heart and soul was taken too soon.
Nicholas leaves behind his mother, Katherine Hooks, and father, Delroy Douglas. He also leaves behind his two sons, Darius Douglas and Noah Manley Douglas; siblings, Shannon Douglas, Desiree Douglas, Anthony Douglas and Michael Douglas. He leaves behind his soul mate and one true love, Valerie Estabrook. He was the glue that held all of his siblings together. He loved his mommy as he would say more than words can describe. He also leaves behind his nieces, Chanise Foster and Aaliyah Douglas and nephews, Malik Foster and Knox Clady. He loved them with an indescribable love that they will carry with them forever.
Many saw a smile that would shine so bright, but it was masking the sadness he held tucked away so deep inside for no one to see. We are not ashamed, but proud to call him our family’s heart. He fought with everything he had inside him and was a beautiful, kind soul. He was so precious, in fact, that God wanted to hold him in his arms right away. Nick had so many close families and friends that he loved. Please continue to pray for his soul, so that it makes its entrance into heaven.
