Kaitlin Cochran, a former collegiate four-time, First-Team All-American, will be the featured speaker at the Maine Softball Coaches Association 2016 Coaches Clinic at Thomas College’s Alfond Center in Waterville on Saturday, Feb. 6, beginning at 8 a.m.

Cochran attended the Arizona State University wher she helped her team win the 2008 Women’s College World Series tile. With United States women’s national softball team, she won four World Cup of Softball crowns. She holds various records for the Sun Devils in the Pac-12.

Other respected speakers include: Lisa-Ann Wallace, who has had experience and success in all three divisions of NCAA softball, was hired as the new softball coach for Colby College. Terry Parlin has been the Thomas College softball coach since 2009. His team has won 107 games over the past seven seasons.  In the spring of 2016, Ryan Sullivan will enter his 12th season as head coach of the Bowdoin softball team. Sullivan has quickly become the winningest coach in the history of the Polar Bear softball program. Nick Caiazzo is a former Minor League catcher turned professional instructor who was also a University of Maine baseball standout. He is the Director of Player Development at the Edge Academy in Portland.

The cost is $30 membership fee for the school and $40 per person.
