Key losses: Crystal West (P), Taylor Johnson (SS), Myriah Lausier (3b), Bryanne Starbird (OF).

Promising newcomers: Sophomores — Erin Morton (2b), Anna Piirainen (Inf/OF), Alyssa Morin (INF), Hannah Kenney (Inf/OF), Madison Leblond (SS).

Season outlook: Winslow and Kahknonen were both all-conference players last year while Morin, Akers, Fillebrown, Whitman and Knox all saw time last year. The pitching will be young but has to some varsity experience. As the pitching evolves, so should the Vikings’ fortunes. Oxford Hills hopes to be in the playoff mix and good enough to challenge some of the top teams.
