LEWISTON — The YWCA has holiday swim passes available for discounted prices, a great idea for stocking stuffers. Open swim and water fitness passes are $5. Magic Y-world is $7 per person or a family pass for $18.

Try-Me Week will be held from Dec. 22-31. All open swim times and water fitness classes will be offered at a discounted rate. Family open swim times will also be offered throughout the week. Magic Y-World, L/A’s only gigantic indoor water float, is a great way for the whole family to get some exercise and have fun.

Aqua Zumba will be led by licensed instructor Marian V.Emano. It will be offered to individuals 10 years and older who can follow instructions and manage being in the water. Aqua Zumba integrates the Zumba formula and philosophy into an invigorating low-impact aquatic exercise. It will be offered every Thursday from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m.

The YWCA has a full schedule of swim lessons which are available mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturday mornings. Registration is available now. Swim lessons will begin the week of Jan. 2. The Y also offers private and semi-private lessons.
