As a representative in the Maine Legislature and a longtime member of the Appropriations Committee, Rep. Margaret Rotundo has demonstrated to the blindness community her support, understanding and advocacy.

As a blind person, I have worked with Rotundo for several years on legislation that will greatly affect our lives, as well as the education of all special-needs students. She has asked the tough questions that we can’t ask at Appropriations Committee meetings and works for fair solutions to be honored.
