Mutual aid comes to the rescue at challenging Strong fire
Strong Fire Department Chief Duane Boyd said the fire, burning within a sawdust heap at Lignetics of Maine, would have been impossible to manage without help from other fire departments in the region participating in a Franklin County mutual aid program.
