W.G. Mallett still struggling with attendance, volunteers

Robotics team gets OK to travel out of state
This is the second year Spruce Mountain High School students and mentors have been part of Blue Crew FIRST Robotics Competition Team 6153 from Mt. Blue Campus in Farmington and they hope to repeat the success they achieved last year.

HCC bringing recovery center to Franklin County
Healthy Community Coalition will be opening two new recovery centers in Franklin County. The first recovery centers in Franklin County, they will offer a safe location for those who are recovering from substance abuse and will help combat the ongoing opioid crisis in the state of Maine.

UWTVA receives grant for Don’t Despair Car Repair program
Since starting the Don't Despair Car Repair program last spring, United Way of the Tri-Valley Area has helped over 40 households keep cars running, and they are continuing to receive grant funding to keep the program going strong.
