NORWAY — Local residents can be screened to reduce their risk of having a stroke or bone fracture when the Second Congregational Church, 205 Main St., hosts Life Line Screening on Thursday, March 24.

To schedule an appointment or for more information, call 1-800-697-9721 or visit www.lifelinescreening.com. Preregistration is required.

Screenings identify potential cardiovascular conditions, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and hardening of the arteries in the legs. A bone density screening to assess osteoporosis risk is also offered. Many sites offer finger-stick blood tests to check for cholesterol and glucose.

Packages start at $139. All five screenings take 60 to 90 minutes to complete.
