LEWISTON — After the natural disaster in Haiti, the Fortier family planned a bottle drive on Feb. 13, 2010, to benefit Theo’s Work, an orphanage in Haiti created by Lewiston-native, Fr. Marc Boisvert.

With the help of about 20 people, everyone went around Lewiston collecting bottles. Within a day, the group had raised $932.

The family is holding another bottle drive on Saturday, Feb. 12, when they are hoping to raise more for the orphanage. They are looking for bottle donations. Lewiston who have any bottles may them at 795-6791 before Saturday, and family members will pick them up as soon as possible.

Bottles can also be dropped off at anytime at the Fortier home at 29 Martin Drive, off Lisbon Street.
