BERLIN, NH — Berlin Water Works announced recently that those customers who have an approved running water application on file with the Water Works are now permitted to leave a faucet running in order to prevent their service line from freezing.
Customers are requested to be conservative in the amount of water they use to prevent their service line from freezing. For most customers, the volume of running water should not exceed that required to fill a quart container in one and one-half minutes or a gallon container in six minutes.
