Church cantata

RUMFORD — The combined choirs of the Mexico Congregational Church and the Rumford United Methodist Church will present a cantata, “A Ceremony of Lessons and Carols,” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Methodist Church on Linnell Street.

The choir participants are Sue Gaudet, Sue Gould, Carol Cantin, Karen Ellis, Charlene Pidacks, Darlene Damon, Beverly Cantin, Stephanie Wilson, Pastor Carol Stevens, Naomi Robertson, Jim Robertson, Dot Wing, Martha Hanington, Jean Larsen, Paul Larsen and Dee Holman.

Beverly Cantin and Jim Robertson will be soloists and the narrators will be Al Hanington and George Kimbell. Judith Kuhn will direct the choir and Cindy Bohren will accompany.

The public is invited to attend the free Christmas concert.
