Power (shot put), Christian Hanscom (sprints); Girls: Senior — Kendra Lobley (distance/jumps); Junior — Miranda Gile (high jump); Sophomores — Emma Turton (sprints), Sophie Spiller (sprints/jumps).
Key losses: Matt York, Kyle Eastman, Kassandra Gile, Nicole Niemi.
Promising newcomers: Maximilian Ruehlmann, Delany Woodford, Julia Kruger, Katie Burgess.
Outlook: The Knights have the balance in both the boys’ and girls’ teams to challenge the WMC’s elite. Woodford, Labbe and Benedict were in the top eight at the WMC championship last year. Murphy is looking to improve on a third place in the 55 hurdles and fifth in the high jump. Lobley is looking to defend her conference 400 title, while Turton (200 and 400) and Gile are rising stars.
