HOULTON, Maine (AP) — Drug officials say they’ve arrested two people in connection with a methamphetamine laboratory that was discovered last week in northern Maine.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested 41-year-old Kenneth Williams of Lakeland, Fla., who allegedly taught Houlton residents how to make methamphetamine, and 28-year-old Melissa Tidd of Houlton. Both are charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.

One of the locations where evidence was seized last week was Tidd’s residence in Houlton. The drug agency said Tidd was released on bail, while Williams was being held at the Aroostook County Jail. Agents say others involved have been identified and are now being sought.
