PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — A price-watching website says average retail gasoline prices in Maine have risen 4.5 cents per gallon in the past week to an average of $3.02 per gallon.

MaineGasPrices.com says Sunday’s average price was 29.8 cents per gallon higher than it was on the same day one year ago, and 12.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The average $3.02 per gallon in Maine also compares with the national average, which has fallen 1.3 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.87 per gallon.
