Tate Howes of Auburn sorts pairs of skis while helping to get the Auburn Middle School gymnasium ready for the Auburn Ski Association Ski Swap on Saturday. Howes, a freshman at Edward Little High School, is one of the many volunteers helping during the 47th annual event. Proceeds from new and used winter sports equipment help support the ski programs at the middle school, Edward Little High School, the Lost Valley Race Club, SNOMAD and the Auburn Nordic Ski Association. “This is our largest fundraiser,” said ASA president Eric Howes. The ski swap is open Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
