DIXFIELD — Members of the Stephens High School Class of 1955 will meet for their monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, at the Front Porch Cafe.  

Society to meet

PERU — The Peru Historical Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the home of Robert and Shirley Dolloff.

School conferences

DIXFIELD — Dirigo High School will hold teacher/parent/student conferences from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 and from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15.

Memorial Mass

RUMFORD — The VFW will have a veterans memorial Mass at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, at the Parish of the Holy Savior.

DOI meeting

RUMFORD — St. Timothy Circle 504, Daughters of Isabella, will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Parish of the Holy Senior Church Hall.

Committee members are Chairpersons Drucilla Breton and Patricia Hopkins, Jean Hiken, Eileen Chiasson, Terry Umbro, Myrtle McKenna, Joan Lepage, Vicke Kuhl and Jennifer Kreckel. Members are asked to donate nonperishables for a Thanksgiving basket. Donations should be left at the Parish Hall by the bingo board, no later than Nov. 20.

Homemakers

PERU — The Peru Extension Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Nov. 9, at the Peru Baptist Church. Those attending should bring items for the raffle basket.

The program will be making Christmas ornaments for the raffle. Members should bring sewing supplies and scraps of Christmas fabric. Edie Porter has the mystery. Members should bring a bag lunch and are reminded that items for the Thanksgiving basket are also due.
