JAY – Town officials are looking for Jay’s oldest resident to present him or her with the Boston Post Cane.

If someone knows of anyone who may qualify, they are asked to call the town office at 897-6785.

Town office to close two days

WELD – The town office will be closed at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, due to Election Day.

The office will also be closed Thursday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day.
