DEAR SUN SPOTS: I have a young girl who is in love with Littlest Pet Shop Toys. I’ve looked everywhere to find some and haven’t been successful. I’m wondering if Sun Spots readers might have some they no longer want. If you have any, please call me at 784-4214. I read this column every day. I’ve learned a lot and you give everyone helpful information. I have helped out whenever I can, too. Keep up the good work!

ANSWER: Littlest Pet Shop Toys, introduced by Kenner and now made by Hasbro, are little rubber critters and accessories based on a television series from the 1990s. I found them at Walmart.com, eBay, and Etsy (etsy.com) where certain sellers have grab bags of the miniature toys for $20. However, if any readers have these around the house and your children have outgrown them, here’s a new home for them! Contact this Sun Spots fan and make a deal!
DEAR SUN SPOTS: I’m trying to find out if Lugerner’s Jewelry Store at 1 Park Row in New York City is still in business. I hope you can find out or maybe another reader knows of this store.

ANSWER: I wasn’t able to find out any information about this store, but that street address in Manhattan’s financial district is being developed as a 21,500-square-foot building with three floors of retail space and six to seven floors above that for (possibly) condominiums. Readers, if you have any information to share, please fill us in!
DEAR SUN SPOTS: In regard to the Feb. 5 Sun Spots, some of the titles you mentioned to look up information on old stocks are available through the library. “Robert D. Fisher Manual of Valuable and Worthless Securities” is held at the Bangor Public Library and can be borrowed upon request through MaineCat. “Survey of Predecessor and Defunct Companies” from The Financial Post is held at the University of Maine in Orono and must be viewed within the library.

ANSWER: See what I mean? Between Sun Spots and all the fantastic librarians out there, you guys have it made!
DEAR SUN SPOTS: Thanks so much for the write-up in the Jan. 16 Sun Spots. I just wanted to let your readers know we’re in need now more than ever as we have received 10 more requests for materials and information, thanks to your column.
If people would like to continue to support us with monetary donations, school supplies such as pens, pencils and erasers, and bags for handing out supplies, we would appreciate it. We just received a large donation of materials from a foundation, but I get most supplies at Dollar Stores and other local businesses.
This is a small organization so what comes in goes directly to the program. If you send in a monetary donation, let me know the area where you would like me to distribute the materials. One hundred percent of donations go for supplies for families and youths and to keep the Ford Fairlane running. Again, gas cards, checks, and bags can be sent to Eddie Burgess, Wellness Mobile Operator, at 9 Atwood St., Suite #3, Lewiston, ME 04240. For more information, contact me at edward.burgess@maine.edu. Thanks for your support!
