Club to hold Valentine’s party
AUBURN — A Valentine’s party will be held starting at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Sacred Heart Church.
Social hour is from 11 to noon, followed by lunch. People should bring a lunch; brownie sundaes will be served. Game time is 12:30 p.m. The part is free. New members and guests are welcome.

Making cards and chocolates
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Public Library will host a workshop on making cards and chocolates from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, in the Makerspace on the second floor.
Community members are invited to create their own original Valentine’s Day cards with a surrealist art theme. The library will provide the blank cards and envelopes, and ideas to get participants started and lots of options for decoration. Chocolate and molds will also be available for those who would like to try crafting their own chocolates.
This free program is open to teens and adults only. Registration is recommended as supplies are limited.

OES chapter meeting Feb. 14
AUBURN — Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St.
The chapter will renew the Obligation, the landmarks will be read, the associate conductress will give her lecture and the secretary will read the general information on the Grand Chapter Charity Fund.
The meeting will be preceded by a potluck supper at 6 p.m. All Eastern Star members are welcome.
Danville Grange to meet, host lecture
AUBURN — Danville Junction Grange will meet Thursday, Feb. 14, at 7 p.m. with dessert served at 6 p.m.
A Valentine’s program will be served by lecturer Norma Meserve. Members are reminded to bring their clipped coupons for troops and donations for PAL.
All members and guests are welcome to attend.
Legion to hold fundraiser
AUBURN — A spaghetti dinner fundraiser will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the American Legion Post 31.
