Teen events on helathy relationships
AUBURN — As part of the Auburn Public Library’s ongoing Teen Life Skills Series, in February teens will talk about healthy relationships.
February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. In recognition of this annual event, schools and teen centers all over the country will be participating in special activities.
At the APL, every Thursday during the month, from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28, teens are invited to stop by the Teen Space for games and/or activities centered around dating and healthy relationships. These programs will be presented by community educators Jennifer Glidden from Safe Voices and Heather Turner from the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services. There will be snacks, candy and prizes.
These programs are designed for teens ages 12-18.
