Franklin Grange 124 will host an open house at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at the hall on Main Street, Bryant Pond, to observe the 135th anniversary of the Grange. Phil House, Grange member, will preside at the instrument. There will be a presentation on Grange halls in Maine by Past Master Stephen Trent Seames. Errol Briggs, master of the Vermont State Grange and an Oxford County native, will also speak. Light refreshments will follow. The public is welcome to attend.
