The Androscoggin Beekeepers Club will host master beekeeper Phil Gaven of The Honey Exchange in Portland on Wednesday, Feb. 13. It will be held in the vestry of the West Auburn Congregational Church, 811 West Auburn Road, and is open to the public. The discussion will focus on methods for backyard queen rearing with the ultimate goal of spending less money buying bees. A brief business meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. with Gaven’s presentation at 7. Coffee and desserts will be served.
