BRIDGTON — The Lake Region Community Chorus is proud to present its sixth annual Holiday Concert at the Twitchell Chapel at Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton. The concerts are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9.

This amazing choral group is comprised of 55 singers from 14 surrounding towns. They will present an exciting program that is made up of songs of many different styles and genres.

These energetic singers will perform the perfect blend of holiday and winter songs, including “O Holy Night,” “What Child is This?”, “Can You Hear the Angels?” and the “Hallelujah Chorus” with audience participation.

The program will have accompaniments by percussionist, Rusty Wiltjer, and electric bassist, Mark Priola. Musicians from the chorus include: Ginny Halligan, flute; Pam Ward, guitar; Jan Jukkola, clarinet; and Glen Jukkola, violin. The LRCC is directed by Jan Jukkola, Susan Stockwell and Dan Allen. The group is accompanied by Carolyn Stanhope and Sara-Sue Schreiber.

Donations to help cover the purchasing of music and operating costs will be accepted. The Lake Region Community Chorus will help sing in the season and fill hearts with their gift of music and song.
