Five chapters of The Red Hat Society gathered at the mall to kick off the annual Salvation Army Toy Drive. Capt. Deanna Street said the Lewiston Salvation Army will provide gifts to 500 children this Christmas. Friday’s snowstorm kept a few Red Hatters from attending their 13th annual kickoff. But they still managed to fill a van with toys. “The snow ain’t going to stop us,” Jacquie Delasso said.
