My husband and I have been voting as Democrats for 62 years. We would never have thought of changing parties until we heard Bruce Poliquin was running.
We met him 10 years ago when he was a volunteer coach. The most important thing to the other coaches was to win. On Poliquin’s team, everyone was valued equally. All players got their time at bat, good or not. Pizza after was not a prize for winning, but as a “well done” to all for doing their best.
We need a man who stands for honesty, integrity, knowledge and a sense of fairness.
Poliquin is that man.
He was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He worked in a restaurant while in high school and earned scholarships for college. He knows what it is like to work.
Needless to say, these two Democrats are now new Republicans.
