The community group Preventing, Recognizing and Responding to Abuse in At-Risk Populations (PRRAAP) is holding Franklin County’s 3rd annual Senior Resource Fair on Thursday, June 16th, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Wilton Public Safety Building. Come gather insight and information, and find out about local resources!

Speakers include Maine Attorney General, Janet Mills, Laure Johnson of SeniorsPlus, Chief Jack Peck and Detective Mark Bowering of the Farmington Police Department, and Detective Mike Majia of the Jay Police Department, among others. There will be onsite shredding, medication take back, and Mt. Blue Pharmacy will be on hand to conduct medication consultations.

This event is FREE and open to anyone interested in learning more about local resources and services for seniors. There will be raffle drawings, and lunch will be provided!

This year’s event is made possible by the work of PRRAAP. The PRRAAP group, established in 2013, is a group of committed individuals working in Franklin County who strive to bring issues of elder abuse, and the abuse of other at-risk populations, to the forefront of the conversations in our communities.

Thank you to the Senior Resource Fair’s generous supporters: Franklin Savings Bank, Wilton Benevolent Association, and Tyngtown Club.
