WEST PARIS — Kids’ Korner at the First Universalist Church of West Paris is a recipient of the first Community Concepts diaper drive that collected more than 17,000 diapers as of Sept. 29.

Kids’ Korner collects and distributes, free of charge, new and gently used clothing for infants and toddlers. It is open the first and third Saturdays of the month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Community support is not new to the church’s members, and the Goodwill Fellowship, which has been doing good deeds since it was established in 1906. These include collecting food for the neighborhood food pantry, Christmas gifts to donate to Community Concepts, annual donations to the West Paris Library, Halloween fruit platters for the Agnes Gray School, Christmas gift certificates donated to the school, Christmas boxes for shut-in senior citizens and Christmas Eve candlelight services with food donations in lieu of a collection.

Goodwill Hall hosts events and meetings such as the annual chicken pie supper, the annual rhubarb festival, Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, dinner meetings of the Oxford County Municipal Officers and dinner meetings of the Oxford County Educators-Retired.

Worship services are held at 9 a.m. Sundays from September to June, with refreshments following the service. All are welcome.
