LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library announces events for November.

• Book Group will continue its series on the Great American Read at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8. They will discuss Frank Herbert’s sci-fi classic “Dune.” People can get a copy at the library.

• The Knit/Crochet Group meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays. New and experienced knitters and crocheters are welcome. The group is also collecting knitted and crocheted hats for Franklin Savings Bank for those experiencing hair loss. Hats can be dropped off at the library.

• LEGO Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17. The challenge will be to create a scene of a race. LEGO creations will be displayed.

• Preschool Story Time, featuring stories and activities for parents and their preschoolers, takes place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays. Each story time ends with a craft for attendees to take home.

The library will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 13, in observance of Veterans Day, and Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22 and 23, for Thanksgiving.

Library officials thank those who donated to the annual book sale and purchased books. Proceeds support the library.
