Elizabeth Warren has been severely criticized in the news for being tested and proving she has Native American blood. Nowhere do I see that she claims to be Native American. Why do people care so much? Is it not a compliment to want to be so?

President Trump has mocked Warren, calling her “Pocahontas,” laughing at her. He was recorded saying he would give her $1 million for charity if she could prove she had Native American blood. But when she did just that, he tried to pretend he hadn’t said it.

Who has the most credulity?

Editor’s note: Sen. Warren listed herself as a minority of Native American heritage in a directory for the Association of American Law Schools, which Harvard Law School then widely promoted while she was a professor there in the 1990s.
