RUMFORD — Chance Vacchiano gave Mountain Valley a late lead as the Falcons held on for a 2-1 victory over Dirigo in boys’ soccer. Will Sorensen also scored for the Falcons.

Jeremy St. Germaine had the Cougars’ (1-8) goal.

Kyle Kenney made two saves for Mountain Valley (4-5), while Loegan Hodgkins turned aside 15 shots for Dirigo.

HALL-DALE 7, OAK HILL 2

WALES — Matt Albert and Alec Byron had two goals and two assists apiece to lift the Bulldogs to the 7-2 MVC victory.

Josh Nadeau (two assists), Ian Stebbins and Logan Dupont added a goal and an assist, while Sam Shaefer made four saves for Hall-Dale (9-0).

Nico Soucy and Troy Lafata had goals for the Raiders (6-3), and Cole Whitten made 18 saves.

FIELD HOCKEY

LEAVITT 3, OXFORD HILLS 0

PARIS — Eve Martineau had a goal and an assist to lead Leavitt to a 3-0 victory in field hockey action over Oxford Hills.

Ginny Twitchell and Haylee Janosco also had goals for the Hornets (7-5).

Mallory Casey made seven saves in the win while Madison Day turned aside five shots for Oxford Hills (6-5-1).

OAK HILL 8, TELSTAR 0

BETHEL — Adelle Surette scored four goals and Desiree Dumais notched four assists to help lead Oak Hill to an 8-0 victory over Telstar in a Class C South field hockey game on Monday.

Zoe Buteau, Makiya Culp, Cassidy Spencer and Kaylei Robichaud also scored for the Raiders (8-5). Buteau added two assists and Surette had one as well.

E.B. Hoff made 26 saves in goal for the Rebels (0-12), while Mackenzie Thibeault and Kiara Levesque each made one splitting time for the Raiders.

CAMDEN HILLS 5, LEWISTON 0

NORTHPORT — The Windjammers had five different goal scorers as Camden Hills defeated Lewiston 5-0 in KVAC field hockey action at Point Lookout on Monday. Lulu Lyder had a goal and an assist while Maggie Blemaster, Greta Bishop, Kyla Taylor and Meredith Luce each had a goal.

Vicki Balla made 21 saves in the shutout for the Windjammers (3-7-1).

Ashley Cronkhite and CC Landry combined to make 12 saves for the Blue Devils (2-9).
