AUBURN — Faith Baptist Church, 43 Washington St. N., will hold revival meetings with evangelist Mike Patterson at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 17, 18 and 19.
He will also speak Sunday, Sept. 16, for Sunday School at 10 a.m., worship service at 11 a.m. and evening service at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited.
Patterson led a life of crime and wickedness, in and out of jail and prison. He trusted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at the age of 22 while serving his second prison term in Ohio.
Patterson is a missionary-evangelist with International Baptist Ministries. He and his wife, Virginia, served at Baptist Children’s Home in St. Louis, Michigan, and later entered the Youth Pastorate to work at Faith Baptist Church in Muskegon, Michigan. God him to the pastorate at Calvary Baptist Church of Shepherd, Michigan.
He and his family are members of Faith Baptist Church in Muskegon. The Pattersons have three grown children, two of whom are married; their son, Kail, is still with them and they travel together.
