DENMARK — The Denmark Arts Center presents the band Junco at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25.

Hailing from the hills of the Mt. Washington Valley, Junco performs an original blend of rock, folk and jazz. The band is made up of bassist Anthony Branca, guitarist Jeremy Holden, drummer Alex Ouellette, singer/guitarist Bobby Sheehan and oboist Dan Stackhouse. While channeling the sounds of Dave Matthews Band, Paul Simon and the Grateful Dead, Junco’s upbeat themes, improvisational approach and lively stage presence all add up to a show not to be missed.

Tickets are available at $15 for adults, $12 for seniors (65-plus) and $8 for kids under 18. All tickets are general admission; members receive priority seating. Lobby and concessions open at 7 p.m. Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly recommended.

The Denmark Arts Center is at 50 West Main St. To purchase tickets or find more information, visit www.DenmarkArts.org or call the Denmark Arts Center box office at 207-452-2412.
