LEWISTON — Constance H. Blouin, 76, of Lewiston passed away Thursday, July 26, at her home, surrounded by family.

Born in Brunswick on Dec. 3, 1941, she was the daughter of Auguste and Marie Jeanne Theroux Lebel. She graduated from Brunswick High School, and later from the Holy Ghost School of Nursing in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She worked as an LPN for many years, including years spent at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. On May 27, 1972, she married the love of her life, Laurian “Larry” B. Blouin.

Connie was a dedicated wife and mother, and enjoyed cooking fantastic meals for her growing family. Besides cooking, her natural creativity led her to knitting, carpentry, painting, chair caning, mirror resilvering, and gardening. She always loved puzzles and games, especially playing cards with family and friends.

A member of St. Philip Church, Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, she is survived by her loving husband, Larry; eldest daughter Lisa Blouin of Portland, Oregon; youngest daughter Michelle and husband, Bryan Ide, of Gray; her son, Marc, and his wife, Donna, and their five children: Devin Brown, Noah, Sean, Luke and Paisley Blouin, all of Lyman.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Reginald Lebel.
