AUBURN — Amy Dieterich, a lawyer with Skelton Taintor & Abbott in Auburn, lectured July 17 at an Advanced Family Law Seminar in Portland on effectively litigating issues of contempt in family law cases.
Such claims can be complicated because they require a higher standard of proof, have limited discovery and require a litigant to prove that the opposing party did not perform to the fullest extent possible. Dieterich led a discussion of experienced practitioners on the complexities of litigating such claims, along with other post-judgment motions.
Her practice areas at Skelton Taintor & Abbott include employment law, family law, commercial litigation, municipal law and appeals. She is admitted to practice in both federal and state courts in Maine and New York.
