Shawn Hiscock, 29, of Jay remained in serious condition Saturday evening at Maine Medical Center in Portland following a car accident in Wilton on Friday.
Hiscock was driving the Chevrolet SUV that collided head-on with a truck on Route 2. Avis Pettengill, 73, of Jay, a passenger in the SUV, was dead when rescue crews arrived on the scene.
Hiscock suffered severe injuries and was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to the Portland hospital.
His wife, Heather Hiscock, 30, and their 2-year-old son, Isaac, were taken by LifeFlight to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, where they were treated on Friday. On Saturday evening, CMMC staff said neither Heather Hiscock nor her son were still patients, but would not disclose whether they had been transferred to another hospital or released.
Jordan Hiscock, 8, also a passenger in the SUV, was treated and released from Franklin Memorial Hospital on Friday.
Richard Greco, 59, of Dixfield, was driving the pickup truck involved in the accident. He suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from Franklin Memorial Hospital on Friday.
Everyone involved in the accident appeared to have been wearing seat belts, police said.
