NORWAY — Beverly Kimball, 72, of Norway, passed away Saturday, June 30, at 9:45 p.m., to be with her father and Grammie Flossie, along with many other friends and family.
Beverly was born in Norway, Dec. 22, 1945, to Richard and Madeline Pratt. She attended Paris High School, and worked at local factories, including Miller Shoe, Bridgton Knitting Mill and New Balance.
She married Gaynor Fitch on Nov. 22, 1968, and their son, Christopher, was born Nov. 28, 1972. For a few years, she operated a children’s day care at her home.
She married Stephen Kimball on May 26, 1979. This year marked their 39th anniversary. Together, they purchased several rental units, where Beverly enjoyed remodeling and redecorating the apartments.
She is survived by husband; her son; two grandchildren: Christopher and Annabelle Fitch; her mother, Madeline Pratt; a sister, Vira Micklon; and a brother, Oramell Pratt, all of Norway; sisters-in-law Sally (Dave) Blakenship of Knoxville, Tenn., and Rachel (Jerry) Coburn of South Paris; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her in-laws Edward (Ted) and Ruth Kimball.
The family would like to thank the staff of Stephens Memorial Hospital (especially the Infusion Center) and the Norway Rehabilitation Center for all of their kindness.
