AUBURN — John I. McKellick, 51, of Lewiston died Friday, June 15, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Healthcare & Hospice in Auburn, following a lifelong battle with Apha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. He was born in Rumford on March 16, 1967, the son of Roy and Bhima Welch Mckellick.

Educated in local schools, he was self-employed doing building and property management. John enjoyed spending time with his many friends at the Acme Club, and was a proud, card-carrying minister of the Universal Life Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Amber McKellick of Florida; two sisters: Brenda Parise of Lewiston and Donna McKellick of New Hampshire; and Roy McKellick of Sabattus.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Roy Mckellick Jr. and James McKellick, and his three sisters Viola, Patricia and Sharon McKellick.
