WATERFORD – A Bunny Breakfast will be followed by a plunge in Keoka Lake Saturday, April 12, to raise money for two Waterford Memorial School programs.
The breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in the school cafeteria.
The cost is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children under 12. Proceeds will help pay for Waterford sixth grade students to attend Camp Kieve.
Following the breakfast, attendees are invited to cheer on a hearty group of women who will take a dip in Keoka Lake. They are raising money for the Waterford Recreation Enrichment Program. This program offers before- and after-school day care and enrichment programs for Waterford students.
The “splish splash” team consists of Margaret Emery, Waterford principal; Jackie Rice, Waterford Recreation Enrichment Committee coordinator; Carlene Tremblay, PTO president; and Dottie Wilson-Morse, Recreation Committee member. They are currently collecting pledges.
