At 11 a.m. there will be a chicken barbecue and $10 includes a half-chicken, potato salad, cole slaw and dinner rolls plus hamburgers, hot dogs, fries and drinks.
The Auxiliary is having a bake sale from noon to 2 p.m. and Lie to Me will provide live music.

PARIS — Friends of the Deering Memorial Community Center are hosting a Dessert Fest Fundraiser for the center from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the community center.
Participants will be able to taste test and enjoy a plate of delicious varied desserts for just $5 per person.
The funds raised will help defray the center’s utility and insurance costs, allowing the facility to be used by others at low or no cost. RUMFORD — There will be a benefit spaghetti and meatball supper for Bryce Hanangton, who is battling pulmonary fibrosis, a terminal illness of the lungs, from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the Rumford Eagles 1249, 129 Rumford Ave.
Price for adults is $7; children, $3. There will be a raffle with many items, including a handmade quilt, jewelry, painting, movie tickets and wooden ornaments.

SUMNER — The Congregational Church of East Sumner will serve a community supper with casseroles at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at 50 Main St., Route 219.
The event will include a raffle of baked goods and household items. Proceeds will benefit the outreach mission of the Church. Donations are accepted for the meal.
