AUBURN — Antoinette (Toni) Darling 94, a resident of Auburn, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 17, at the Hospice House, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Fort Kent on Jan. 17, 1924, the daughter of Damaise and Georgianna (Charette) Bois.

She married Donald Darling in 1941 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church. She was employed at Raytheon, Arrow Heart and Auburn Heel. She was a founding member of St. Philip’s Church. She was active for many years at the Church Christmas Fairs. She was a member of St. Philip’s Seniors, First Auburn Seniors, Robin Dow Seniors, St. Philip Family Group, and the Happy Red Hat Society.

Survivors include one daughter, Virginia Lytch, and husband, Larry, of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons: Ronald Darling and wife, Joanne of Lebanon, Tenn., and Donald Darling Jr. and wife, Cyndi, of Carmel; one daughter-in-law, Marguerite Darling, of Portland; four grandchildren: Michael Darling of Ohio; Dennis Darling and wife, Sandra, of North West Canton, Ohio; Alfred Darling and wife, Amber, of Lebanon, Tenn.; and Michelle Eoff of Arizona; nine great-grandchildren: Christopher Matthew, Stevie, Rene, Melanie, Amanda, Madison, Alfred Darling Jr. and Alyssa Eoff. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Harry; two brothers: David and Leonard Bois; and two sisters: Ann Cifelli, and Leona Mann.
