FARMINGTON — The Farmington Public Library and Literacy Volunteers of Franklin and Somerset counties have announced the winners of this spring’s poetry contest.

The winners are, according to age categories:

0 to 10 years: first, Owen Knapp; second, Avery Jessen; third, Bonnie Bea Knapp.

11 to 17: first, Caroline Frank; second, Mya Kellett; third, Kalley Starbird.

18 to 25: first, Zackary Lavoie; second, Mikayla Brown.

26 and older: first, Karen Farrell; second, Kelly Sterns; third, Greg Zemlansky.

Leah Kuehn served as judge.

All are welcome for the reading of the winning poems at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at the Farmington Public Library.
