NORWAY — Margaret (Meg) L. Mineweaser, 70, passed away peacefully at Maine Medical Center on Sunday, April 1, with her family at her side.

Born in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 12, 1947, daughter of John and Suzanne Mineweaser, she married her love, Frank Kieliszek, on May 22, and again on May 25, 1978. Together they lived in Bangor, Calais, Baltimore and Rochester, NY. They finally settled in Norway in 1990.

She was proud of her handwriting, which she learned from the nuns, and her expert stenography. She was employed as an office manager both early and late in life, an offset printer, a traveler, and a writer of musical parodies. Although never a swimmer, she enjoyed sailing.

She loved singing harmony in the choir of the First Congregational Church of South Paris. She loved all children, working at United Cerebral Palsy and later Child Development Services. She was a Cub Scout den leader. She was the RIF “book lady” at Guy E. Rowe School. She loved most being a mom to her sons, James and Patrick.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, brothers James and John; and her nieces and nephews. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chandlerfunerals.com.
