ROCHESTER, N.Y. — It is with great sadness that Kim left this loving world on March 9 at the Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y. She resided at Painted Post, N.Y.
She was born Feb. 18, 1959, the first-born child of Gordon and Joan Morgan. She attended the Greenwood City one-room schoolhouse which was also attended by her father and grandmother. She also attended schools in Woodstock and later Telstar Regional High School.
In her younger years she enjoyed swimming, family trips to Reid State Park, snowmobiling, bonfires on Hicks Pond, playing cards, riding bikes, reading, watching baseball and hanging out with the Greenwood gang.
She had many nicknames, Crash (self-explanatory), Auntie Boom, Sis, Angel and best of all, Nana.
Kim had many trades of work in her short life. She had been a stitcher in many shoe shops around the area, she was a CNA, waitress, and her last employment was as a home support aide. She always enjoyed taking care of others.
Kim enjoyed plastic canvas needlepoint and she was in many exchange groups. She made beautiful crafts. She enjoyed coming HOME to visit, no matter how many years she was away; Maine was always home. She especially enjoyed her trip to her brother’s camp in Bancroft. Her one wish was to visit there one more time, but God had a different plan.
She loved being a Nana most and was an exceptionally good one. She attended games, dance recitals, school functions, holidays and spent every bit of time possible with them.
She married the love of her life, Randy Blubaugh on July 4, 2017, in a beautiful ceremony at the Strong Memorial Hospital Chapel in Rochester, N.Y., as she was going through treatment at this time. They had been inseparable for 18 years and decided to tie the knot.
Mourning her loss are her husband, Randy; her father, Gordon Morgan and his companion, Carolyn Chadwick, her children, Brandi Stowe and husband, Jason, Shawn Roak and Kylie Roak; her grandchildren, Dylan and Serenity Eastman, Jada and Brandon Roak, Anaiah Roak, and Christopher Deisbeck; sister, Robin Foster and husband, James; brother, Martin Morgan and wife, Pam; sister, Vanessa Morgan; and nieces, Anastasia and Elizabeth Hill; nephew, Will Rolfe and niece, Whitney Rolfe.
