AUGUSTA — Boxberry School students recently traveled from Harrison to Augusta for a firsthand experience in learning about Maine’s state government.

Students haD been learning about different forms of government and how state and national governments function. They received a tour of the Blaine House and the State House and were allowed to enter the Senate Chamber.

Students will finish their Learning Expedition projects, consisting of puppet shows illustrating how the federal government works and original designs of their own governments, incorporating what they feel are the best practices for governing people.
