FARMINGTON — University Credit Union has renewed its longstanding partnership with University of Maine at Farmington athletics.
The three-year agreement provides UMF Athletics with $15,000 for facilities improvements, equipment upgrades, special services/events and other activities not included in the department’s regular operating budget.
This is the fourth such agreement between UCU and UMF Athletics since the credit union established a branch in Farmington in 2007.
UCU contributions have helped support many improvements to UMF athletics and the fitness and recreation facilities, including the purchase of additional and replacement scoreboards at Prescott Field and Leib Field, sports medicine and adaptive exercise/training equipment, underwriting for ski racing bibs, and new privacy partitions for group fitness classes.
