LEWISTON — Therese A. Henson, 68, of Spring Valley Lane, New Gloucester, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday, Jan. 11, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
Born in Auburn on Feb. 27, 1949, she was the daughter of Roger and Liane Quiron Demers. Educated in local schools, she was a graduate of Edward Little High School, Class of ’67. After graduation, she married the love of her life, Glenn J. Henson, who passed away in 2000. Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years in the local shoe industry.
Therese enjoyed playing board games with her sister and brother-in-law, and especially enjoyed and loved her grandsons, Anthony and Jackson, and her granddaughter, Alexianna.
Survivors include two sons, Marc, and wife, Angela, of North Yarmouth, and Eric, and companion, Samantha Childs, of New Gloucester; a sister, Doris, and husband, Wayne Everett, of Poland; a brother, Maurice Demers, and wife, Diane, of Minot; two sisters-in-law, Jackie Demers, of Auburn, and Glenna Demers, of Minot; three grandchildren; other grandchildren, Salem and Gabriel; and many nieces and nephews.
Beside her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Marcel and Paul Demers.
